Dr. Williams has over twenty years of professional experience in Oriental and Natural Medicine. He is in private practice in Encinitas, California, with an emphasis on antiaging medicine, natural hormone replacement therapies, and immune enhancement. He is the author of several academic papers published in Europe, North America, Cuba, and Mexico. He is a frequent speaker on natural therapies and integrated medicine, including continuing medical education courses and grand rounds to physicians, medical groups, and hospitals, and has appeared on several radio and television programs. He has been a consultant to several leading hospitals and medical groups, including Scripps Memorial Hospital.

In addition to natural medicine, Dr. Williams has traveled extensively in Alaska, China, Mexico, and South America, where he spends time in wild nature studying ethnobotony and indigenous healing practices. He is also a published poet: with credits in Mexico, Peru, England, as well as the United States. His non-fiction works include subjects as diverse as Siberian Eskimo drumming and Mexican curanderismo. He is also an accomplished nature photographer. He has studied meditation, Chi Gong, Tai Chi, and other transpersonal practices for thirty years, and is considered an advanced practitioner of these internal arts.
